Techy Fatule: “Rapists and murderers of children do not deserve life”

Santo Domingo, RD - Dominican singer and songwriter Techy Fatule shared a forceful message through her social media, where she made her opinion very clear about those people capable of harming children. Through a story published on her social media, the performer of “Volverás”, was emphatic when referring to the cases of violence and sexual abuse that have shaken the media in the Dominican Republic. Although Techy did not textually mention the case of Brianna Genao, the shared message is related to the atrocious murder that has shocked the country.

"Child rapists and murderers don't deserve life. Simple," the artist wrote in white letters on a black background, as a display of pain, indignation, and rejection of this type of act.

The artist, who is a mother, took advantage of her maternal feelings to express her sadness and grief at those adults who are capable of taking the lives of children or causing them irreversible harm, by murdering or violating them. At the same time, the singer used her public influence to bring to the forefront an issue that has been deeply hurtful in recent days, especially after the murder of a three-year-old girl was reported, allegedly at the hands of two maternal uncles.

This is not the first time Techy Fatule has used her influence and reach on digital platforms and social media to speak out on issues that directly affect Dominican society.
