Berlin.- The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has warned that Russia is preparing to launch a new large-scale offensive and said that the concentration of troops near Pokrovsk is about 100,000 soldiers, which puts that region of Ukraine in serious danger.
The Russians, according to the president, are preparing a new attack but Ukraine is prepared. Pokrova is a mining town in the south of the Donetsk region and before the war had about 60,000 inhabitants but has lost population because many people have left due to the constant Russian siege. In recent weeks, the region around the city has become the epicenter of the fighting, without the Russians having yet managed to seize it, which is an important transportation hub."The concentration of troops in the region reaches 100,000 soldiers, according to the data we have this morning," Zelensky said in a meeting with journalists according to the Interfax Ukraine agency.
