Santo Domingo.- The communicator and producer Ingrid Gómez announced that the radio show Mujeres al Borde will be off the air at the end of this month on Estrella 90.5 FM, a station of the Medrano Group.
“I had surprises for you, but they killed the rooster in the sheath,” Gómez expressed, after the news was made public through programs that disseminated the information, which was echoed on social media.
“I hadn't told them anything because it's a developing story, it's a process. On the other hand, I tell you that the status of my work has nothing to do with my content,” he explained.
Likewise, he expressed his gratitude to the company, which he defined as “my family and my beloved home”, and asked his followers to stay tuned to find out about the changes and upcoming plans.
Following the success achieved on television, in 2014 Ingrid Gómez decided to take this format to the radio through the current station, counting in that season with the participation of Carmen de Beras and María Angélica Ureña.
In 2017, the program was renewed with a formula that integrated model and actress Gabi Desangles and announcer Diana Filpo, who, along with Gómez, achieved a perfect balance with their different personalities and knowledge.
The communicator Bárbara Plaza joined as a new talent in 2020, co-hosting the space alongside Ingrid Gómez and Gabi Desangles.
Currently, the program is hosted by Gómez along with the young Estefany Piña, Cristal Sánchez, Paloma Rodríguez and Katherine Núñez, and has been on air for 10 years.
