Alcobendas. Spain.- In the sports city of this municipality, the Forum on the growth of Dominican football was held, headed by Councilor Jesús Tortosa, the Consul of Madrid José Marte Piantini and the Football Commissioner of the Dominican Republic Benny Metz.
The outstanding players from the Dominican Republic national team and European teams, Luiyi de Lucas, Peter Federico, Edgar Pujols, and a message from the women's national team coach Betzaida Ubri, attended as panelists. They discussed their experiences in the World Cups and Olympics, as well as their perspective for the Gold Cup. The event was moderated by former player Rony Beard, who was also part of the organizers.
Similarly, Benny Metz led the panel on the development of football in the Caribbean country, along with two veteran coaches and professors Manuel Marinero and José María Amorrotu. Where they promoted continuous training, investment and professionalization to continue growing. The general secretary of the Dominican Football Federation José Frank Acosta sent a message highlighting the initiative.

Finally, legal consultant Geremia Alcantara gave way to the video of Elizabeth Mena, who expressed her experience as CEO for the organization of the Women's U-17 World Cup alongside FIFA. He was accompanied by the Dominican Consul, who reiterated the support of the government of President Luis Abinader for this sport, the best example of which is the large investment made for the World Cup in the country. For his part, Huascar Jimenez, an expert in investments, encouraged those present to be promoters of the country for the investment of sports projects, taking into account legal security and the economic stability of the country.
Finally Ligia Contreras, advisor to the Alcobendas city council, gave the closing remarks and thanked all the participants for their presence.
