DR will host the 2025 International Open Justice Conference

Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Republic will be the setting for the First International Open Justice Conference 2025, which will be held from August 27 to 28, with the presence of delegations from 21 countries. The event is organized by the Dominican Judicial branch. The main objective of the activity is to promote the exchange of experiences and good practices around transparency, citizen participation and access to justice, fundamental pillars of open justice. Likewise, it seeks to consolidate a space for dialogue and international cooperation in the judicial field.

Participating Countries

Among the confirmed nations are: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, France, Guatemala and Honduras, in addition to other delegations that will join this first international meeting. The Judiciary highlighted that the conference is part of the Dominican Republic's efforts to strengthen institutionalism, foster citizen trust, and project itself as a regional benchmark in innovation and openness in justice.
