A young Russian woman is arrested for stealing 22 jars of red caviar to eat them

The Russian Police has arrested a 26-year-old woman for stealing 22 jars of red caviar from a store in the city of Nizhny Novgorod, official sources reported today. According to a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the damage caused by the theft is estimated at 67,000 rubles (almost 900 dollars). The store employees reported the disappearance of the red caviar, after which the security forces reviewed the security camera recordings and found a suspect.

After the interrogation, the young woman admitted to having stolen the jars of caviar during three visits to the establishment and confessed that she had eaten the delicacy. The police opened a criminal case for theft, awaiting the caviar thief to appear before the judge.
