Montecristi. — During an immigration control operation carried out by members of the Dominican Republic Army (ERD), six Haitian nationals in irregular migratory condition were detained and four motorcycles were seized in the community of El Guayo, Montecristi province.
The ERD units were conducting preventive patrols in the aforementioned locality when they intercepted three motorcycles, Z3000, model CG150, black and red in color, and X1000, model CG150, red in color, with undocumented foreigners on board.
Among those arrested are the drivers of the aforementioned vehicles, who were traveling without the proper immigration documentation. Of the total number of detainees, four are men and two are women.

Foreigners and occupied motorcycles were initially transferred to the Hatillo Palma Checkpoint, and later sent to the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Brigade, for the corresponding legal purposes.
