Rio San Juan, Maria Trinidad Sanchez. – The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, highlighted that this Saturday the municipality of Rio San Juan will experience a historic transformation with the millionaire investment that will be led by former baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
In addition, he added that this contribution is added to the construction of a private airport recently approved by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader.
Collado explained that Rodríguez's project contemplates an investment of one billion dollars in a complex of luxury villas and apartments, which will significantly boost the local economy and attract high-end tourism to the area.
“The only requirement they set for this project was the construction of a private airport in Río San Juan, as most visitors of that profile travel on private flights. The president approved that request, and this will be a definitive change for the region's economy,” he affirmed.
The official assured that this type of initiative consolidates Río San Juan as one of the destinations with the greatest projection in the Dominican Republic, with hotels and villas that handle some of the most exclusive rates in the Caribbean.
