This has been determined by the club's medical services after the player performed "intense sports stress tests" this Sunday after completing the conservative treatment he underwent in recent weeks to overcome said ailment. "In order to guarantee the best recovery and return to competitive dynamics, Gavi will undergo an arthroscopic review tomorrow by Dr. Joan Carles Monllau, under the supervision of the club's medical services," reads the statement from the Blaugrana club. Monllau already operated in November 2023 on the Andalusian footballer for a complete rupture of the cruciate ligament and an injury associated with the external meniscus in the same knee, which left him 348 days on the sidelines.
