Santo Domingo. - In a night filled with celebration and jubilation, on Friday, August 29th, the tenth evangelical and prophetic gathering "Genuine" was held, titled "Breaking Down the Walls".
Genuine, it is a community event that began in 2015 in the Simon Bolivar neighborhood under the production of Bishop Francis López Méndez, founder of the ministry and president of the Pentecostal and Missionary Churches Movement Refuge in Christ and national and international president of the Evangelists Confederation of CONACOPE.
The objectives of the event have been, firstly, to exalt God publicly; secondly, for lives to be restored and to give their hearts to Jesus; and thirdly, for healing miracles to occur through the faith of everyone in attendance.
For this edition, Genuino Internacional received the support of important institutions such as: The Pentecostal and Missionary Churches Refuge in Christ Movement, the National Council of Pastors (CONACOPE), Bishop Adolfo Mateo. President of La Confraternidad de Pastores del Ensanche Espaillat y Zonas Aledañas (COPEYZA), Pastor Roque Valdez. President of the Confraternidad del Capotillo (ADIECA), Pastor Elvis Veloz. Executive of the IMAC Churches Council, Pastor Abraham Martínez. Representation of the Maranatha Church in the United States, Pastor Edwin Benítez. Representation of Maranatha RD and Conacope Juvenil, Pastor Enmanuel Sena. Representation of the delegation from Mexico, Pastor Dulce Anaya. Representation of the Colombian delegation, Pastor Roberto Urueta and his Wife Ledis Medina. Representative of Añoranzas Fraternal, Pastor Félix Polanco. Friends of Cordón de Tres Dobleces. Representatives Santo Domingo Norte, Santo Domingo Este. Representatives from the Interior, Azua, La Romana, Juan Varón Palenque, La Caleta. Among other pastors and evangelists who gathered in that place. Representation of the local authorities, the National Police, the Chaplain Corps (DMV) and the Merchants of the area. "Genuine is not an event to seek hype, to gain fame, or to compete; rather, it's so that together we can bless the name of the Lord and that lives accept Jesus, together we will be at Genuine 2026," expressed Bishop Lopez after receiving an important recognition from the organizing team.
