Among the benefited communities are Padre Las Casas, Monte Bonito, Las Lagunas, Bohechío, Los Guayuyos, Gajo del Monte, La Siembra, San José de la Cueva, Botoncillo, Arroyo Cano, El Montazo, Los Fríos, Los Auquelles, Las Cañitas and El Yaque, which according to Galván, are the heart of the Central Mountain Range.
