The receipt presented corresponds only to the payment of fines and is not related to the complaint.
Santo Domingo. – The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (INTRANT) reported that, following the complaint made by Mrs. Yahayra Elizabeth Félix Cedeño about an alleged identity theft at one of its license offices, it immediately proceeded to carry out the corresponding verification in the institutional system.
The institution specified that the only thing presented by the citizen today was a receipt corresponding to the payment of traffic fines, a document that is not related to the complaint of alleged impersonation or the issuance of a learner's permit or driver's license.
After the review, it was confirmed that with the indicated identity card number, no driver's license or learner's permit has been issued or delivered, so there is no impersonation. Likewise, it was found that Mrs. Yahayra Elizabeth Félix Cedeño had not initiated any prior formal process in the licensing system.
Internal records show that he/she went to request the issuance of the learning card and took turns both at the headquarters and at the Blue Mall office; however, he/she did not complete the process in either of the two offices.
