Jayne Trcka, an iconic figure in the fitness world in the 1980s and 1990s and remembered for her participation in the movie Scary Movie (2000), passed away at the age of 62.
His death was confirmed by the San Diego County Medical Examiner's office, although the cause of death remains pending investigation.
The former bodybuilder died on December 12 in San Diego, California, as confirmed by her son to the portal TMZ on Monday.
According to his statements, he was unaware that his mother suffered from any prior illness or medical condition that could explain her death, which has generated uncertainty surrounding the circumstances of her death.
According to what TMZ reported, police sources assured that a friend of Jayne Trcka called her several times days before her body was found, but no one answered.
The friend worried and went to the actress's house to see how she was, finding her unconscious in the kitchen. After the friend called 911, emergency services arrived at the scene and declared Jayne dead.

Jayne Trcka was a prominent figure in women's bodybuilding during the eighties, a time considered the golden age of competitive fitness.
Born in February 1963 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Trcka showed a penchant for sports from a young age. During her school years, she practiced gymnastics and various athletic disciplines, before fully embracing weightlifting after moving to Southern California in 1986.
Just two years later, in 1988, she was already competing in bodybuilding contests, starting a career that would take her to the top of the amateur and professional circuit.
Among her most outstanding achievements is the first place obtained in the 1997 California State Championship, when she was 34 years old. Subsequently, she was crowned champion in the 1998 Junior Nationals and in the Los Angeles competition in 2004.
Furthermore, she managed to rank among the top ten in over twenty competitions throughout her career, establishing herself as one of the most consistent athletes of her generation.
Even in 1998, she left her job in the postal service to dedicate herself fully to her sports career and became certified as a personal trainer.
Her image also transcended the sports arenas, as the athlete appeared in numerous magazines specializing in fitness and bodybuilding, such as Flex, MuscleMag International, Women’s Physique World, Iron Man and Fighting Females.
In parallel to her sports career, Jayne Trcka ventured into acting. Her film debut came in the year 2000 with the successful horror comedy Scary Movie, where she played Miss Mann, the gym teacher at the fictional B.A. Corpse High School.
In the movie, she shared scenes with stars like Anna Faris, Regina Hall and Shannon Elizabeth. Although this was her only appearance in the franchise, the character remained etched in the public's memory.
However, her time in acting didn't end there, as she also played herself in comedy television programs such as The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway? in the early 2000s.
