As night falls, the approach of a trough associated with a frontal system will increase humidity and instability, to generate showers that may be moderate to heavy, thunderstorms and wind gusts, mainly over the northwest line, north coast, the Cibao Valley, the Central Mountain Range and gradually extending to other sectors of the southwest and southeast.
On the holiday of the Three Kings, the trough will be located east of the national territory, while the frontal system will remain over eastern Cuba, generating moderate to heavy showers, thunderstorms, and wind gusts from dawn, mainly in provinces of the northwest and north. These precipitations will extend during the morning and afternoon towards the east, northeast, Cibao Valley, Central Mountain Range and Greater Santo Domingo, gradually decreasing at night.

Temperatures will feel pleasant to cool at night and early morning, especially over mountainous areas and the valleys of the interior of the country, where dense fogs and mists could also occur, due to the time of year (winter). Next Tuesday, the trough's departure and the front system that will enter disintegration, due to the establishment of an anticyclonic system, significantly reducing rainfall. However, the cool northeast wind will drag cloud fields that will produce weak and isolated precipitation, mainly in the morning hours over locations in the north, northeast and east, and in the afternoon towards the Central Mountain Range and some points in the southwest.
