Azua, R.D. – The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic, through Regional Directorate 03 Azua, in coordination with Educational District 03-01 and the Provincial Government, inaugurated and put into operation two new classrooms of the Initial Level at the Silvestre Antonio Guzmán Fernández School, located in the Quisqueya sector of the head municipality of the province.
The new classrooms will accommodate children from the age of three, expanding educational coverage and guaranteeing adequate spaces for the integral development of early childhood.
During the opening ceremony, the district director, Marino Lebrón, highlighted the significant investment made by the Government, headed by President Luis Abinader, in school infrastructure in the demarcation. He pointed out that this inauguration constitutes the fifth one held so far this month.
The work, with a capacity for 35 students, was executed with an investment of RD$7,527,992.82. The building includes a block of bathrooms, a kitchen area, and a play area, guaranteeing dignified and safe conditions for the student community.
