Santo Domingo.– The senator for the National District, Omar Fernández, is the best-rated opposition political leader in the Dominican Republic, according to the results of a survey conducted by the firm Sondeos, which applied 1,200 interviews nationwide.
According to the study, Fernández obtains a positive rating of 74%, compared to a regular 8% and a negative 18%, placing him at the head of the opposition figures with the highest level of citizen acceptance.
Secondly, former President Leonel Fernández, leader of the Fuerza del Pueblo, is listed with 34% positive valuation, 8% regular, and 58% negative. Following him is former President Danilo Medina, president of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), with 28% positive, 9% regular, and 63% negative.
