Santo Domingo.– In an environment of growing internal activism, various sectors and high-ranking leaders of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) have begun to publicly express their support for lawyer and leader Larry Suero to assume the candidacy for the General Secretariat of the National District.
The proposal arises in response to the need to renew local leadership and strengthen the organization's operability in the country's main district.
According to sources close to the PRM base, Suero represents the "generational change" capable of energizing the party and connecting with the demands of the people of the capital.
Institutional Renewal: Sectors of the Modern Revolutionary Youth (JRM) consider that their profile is ideal to take the General Secretariat out of what some describe as a state of administrative "anonymity".
Consensus and Unity: Zonal and neighborhood leaders have pointed out that Suero has the ability to articulate consensus among the different internal factions of the PRM, avoiding unnecessary friction on the road to the next electoral processes.
