Reconstruction work on Anacaona park in Constanza is halted

Constanza.- The City Hall of the municipality of Constanza, along with the Ministry of Tourism, Ceiztur and the construction company Positrom S.R.L., have been legally summoned to halt the reconstruction of the Municipal Park. The President of the Capitular Chamber, José Alberto Victoriano, Council of Councilors, and Mayor Francisco Marte (Kiko), denounce what they have understood as an alleged plan to hinder the development of the project. Authorities state that a group of citizens who do not reside in the municipality have attempted to delay the work. For this reason, the Council of Aldermen has warned that if certain practices continue, those involved will be declared "persona non grata" and asks the population to be attentive to the situation.

They add to attribute to such citizens the delay of the reconstruction, hindering, and wanting to establish their will, according to them: above the popular will. It is highlighted that the reconstruction project of the Municipal Park in Constanza was a work requested for many years by the people of Constanza.
