The Russian military justice sentenced this Wednesday a 14-year-old teenager to seven years in a special re-education center for attempting to burn down a military recruitment office.
According to the Mediazona portal, the boy was sentenced for both attempting to commit an attack and for belonging to a terrorist organization, charges covered by Article 205 of the penal code.
Supposedly, the condemned man prepared three Molotov cocktails and attempted to burn down a recruitment center in the Tver region on the orders of the Ukrainian secret services, according to the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR).

Agents from the CIR and the Federal Security Service (FSB) prevented the teenager, who claimed he simply wanted to earn some money, from carrying out his purpose. Recently, military justice sentenced a 17-year-old girl to four years in prison for posting on her school's notice board photos of Russian soldiers fighting on the Ukrainian side and calling them "heroes of Russia". Last November, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law lowering the age of criminal responsibility to 14 for crimes such as sabotage and terrorist activities, which includes throwing Molotov cocktails at military commissariats. Russian authorities accuse Kyiv of attempting to recruit underage Russians for sabotage operations, arguing that they will not be prosecuted due to their young age.
