Santo Domingo.- After it was announced that the Chamber of Deputies approved in two consecutive sessions, the organic law project that creates the Ministry of Justice, the organizational structure that this new institution will have was announced.
In one of its articles, the law establishes that the Ministry of Justice is created as a planning, direction, coordination, and execution body of the attributions delegated by the Constitution and the laws to the Executive Branch for the functional and administrative collaboration with the Justice System, the judicial and extrajudicial representation of the State.

The project contemplates that the Ministry of Justice is comprised of 5 vice ministries with the following organizational order:
- Vice Ministry of Attention and Collaboration to the Justice System
- Vice Ministry of Judicial and Extrajudicial Representation;
- Vice Ministry of Human Rights;
- Vice Ministry of Penitentiary and Correctional Policies;
- Vice Ministry of Registry Affairs and Citizen Services;
- Autonomous and decentralized bodies attached to the Ministry of Justice.
