Santo Domingo.– The weather conditions will remain mostly stable during the night of this Wednesday, with a partly cloudy sky and a significant decrease in rainfall in most of the national territory, the forecasting agency reported.
During tomorrow, Thursday, a mostly sunny environment is expected in the morning hours; however, in the afternoon, the incidence of a nearly stationary frontal system north of the country, over the Atlantic Ocean, and its associated trough, will cause cloud increases accompanied by light to moderate rains at times, as well as possible wind gusts in several inland provinces and the northern region.
Among the localities with the highest probability of precipitation are Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Dajabón, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, Santiago, La Vega, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, Samaná, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, El Seibo and La Altagracia. These rains could extend during the night, especially in areas near the Atlantic coast.

The temperatures will remain slightly warm in the afternoon, influenced by the east/southeast wind, while during the night and early morning they will be pleasant to cool, with a greater incidence in mountainous areas and inland valleys, where morning fogs or mists could occur.
By Friday, the front system is expected to gradually move away from the country, giving way to a drier air mass associated with a high-pressure system. However, weak and isolated rains could be recorded during the early morning hours in sectors of the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts, while in the afternoon a mostly sunny sky will prevail with scarce rainfall.
In the National District and Greater Santo Domingo, mostly stable conditions are expected, with possible isolated showers in the early hours of Friday and sunny skies during the afternoon.
