During six innings, Boston's offense was silenced, limited to just two hits. But in the seventh inning, the story changed. Marcelo Mayer hit a run-scoring double to bring his team closer on the scoreboard, and immediately afterwards, Ceddanne Rafaela hit a two-run single to center field that turned the game around. Walker Buehler had a solid outing, allowing three runs in six innings, which kept the Red Sox close before the final rally. With this victory, Boston improves its record to 50-45 and demonstrates that it can respond to more demanding rivals, after defeating the Nationals and Rockies in the previous series. The triumph comes just as the All-Star Game and the highly anticipated T-Mobile Home Run Derby 2025 are approaching, where two Dominicans will shine on the stage of power.
