Florida.- A 30-year-old man lost his life after becoming unconscious and suffering blunt force injuries on a roller coaster at the new Epic Universe park of Universal Orlando Resort. The Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando reported that the man was transported to a hospital, and then declared dead. Dennis Speigel, CEO and founder of the consulting firm International Theme Park Services, called the autopsy's conclusion quite shocking and said it raised more questions than it answered.
The roller coaster involved was Stardust Racers, according to Universal officials in a statement. It is described on the resort's website as "an impressive dual-launch roller coaster that reaches incredible speeds of up to 62 mph".

After the autopsy was released, Universal said it could not comment beyond its previous statement due to the ongoing investigation.
