Leones del Escogido premieres documentary about their 18th crown

Santo Domingo. — In an event held this Monday, the Leones del Escogido officially presented their documentary “Tremendo trabajo”, a production that revives the most intense, exciting, and decisive moments of last season, when the red team conquered the 18th championship in its history in the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).

Tremendous work. For me, it is an honor to be able to present this today”, expressed José Miguel Bonetti, member of the Board of Directors of the Escogido Baseball Club, when leading the premiere event. The film gathers exclusive testimonies from key figures of the team such as Junior Caminero, Erik González, Sócrates Brito, Junior Lake, and Héctor Rodríguez, who narrate from their perspective the experience lived in each stage of the season that culminated with the dramatic victory in the seventh and decisive game against their eternal rivals, the Tigres del Licey. Upon completion of the screening, the president of Escogido, Eduardo Najri, thanked the players, fans, and production team, highlighting the team's commitment to continue writing pages of glory in Dominican baseball.
“This documentary celebrates our history, but also motivates us to go for more. We are going for the number 18 crown”, Najri emphasized among applause and ovations from those present. The premiere of “Tremendo trabajo” reinforces the bond between the Escogido and its loyal fanbase, highlighting the passion, dedication, and competitive spirit that characterize the scarlet team.
