San Cristóbal lives an electrifying three-game day in the Superior Tournament 2025

San Cristóbal. – A vibrant Sunday of the Superior Basketball Tournament of San Cristóbal 2025 was experienced this November 30th, with three intense matches that shook the court and reaffirmed the high competitive level of the tournament organized by the Basketball Association of San Cristóbal (ABASANCRIS). With the fans engaged, the tournament continues to consolidate as the main sporting stage in the south of the country.

Results of the day

1) Canastica Wolves 93 – Pueblo Nuevo Hornets 84

In the match that opened the day, the Wolves won 93-84 in a game dominated by their star reinforcement Juan Rosario, who had a brilliant night with 36 points. Edgar Tejeda also stood out, with a solid double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, key on both sides of the court. For the Hornets, veteran Rubén Mejía contributed 21 points, while Luis López came close to a triple-double with 17 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds, in an outstanding performance that, however, was not enough to secure the victory.

2) Madre Vieja Hurricanes 90 – Madre Vieja Norte Laguneros 89

The center Eliezer Sánchez contributed an important double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, securing key possessions in the closing. For the Laguneros, Andrés Fulgencio shone with 29 points and Eddy Mercedes added 18, although the team could not contain the rival's onslaught in the final minutes.

3) Ciro Pérez 86 – Buitres de Lavapiés 79

At the end of the day, Ciro Pérez achieved a fundamental victory 86-79 against the Buitres de Lavapiés. Kelvin Furcal was the figure of the match with an imposing double-double of 25 points and 23 rebounds, dominating the paint. Bernardo Polanco also stood out, who added 15 points to maintain the offensive rhythm of the team. For the Vultures, Jeison Colomé scored 24 points and Issac Soler contributed 18, but they couldn't stop Ciro Pérez's push at decisive moments.
