HIGÜEY, LA ALTAGRACIA. – The reinforcement Brayan De la Cruz shone with a spectacular triple-double to lead this Tuesday the Antonio Guzmán club to a 103-85 victory over San Francisco, in the continuation of the regular season of the 50th Torneo de Baloncesto Superior Altagraciano (TBS Higüey 2025), held in the Leo Tavárez sports center.

De la Cruz dominated in all statistical categories with 20 points, 23 rebounds and 10 assists, guiding the defending champions to their second consecutive victory (2-2). On offense, Ariel De León also contributed with 29 points, José Castillo with 20, Jeremy Sarmiento with 13 and Bethoven Castillo with 12.For San Francisco (1-2), Yorky Mota was the best with 22 points, followed by Oscar Montero with 15, George Batista with 12 and the American reinforcement Jeff Allen, who contributed nine units and eight rebounds.
With the victory, Antonio Guzmán ties for second place with San José, only behind the undefeated Centro (3-0). The event is held for the Punta Cana Cup, sponsored by Grupo Punta Cana and organized by the Basketball Association of La Altagracia Province (ABAPA), under the presidency of deputy Jorge Tavárez.
