Malcolm in the Middle’ releases trailer and confirms its return for April 10th

Los Ángeles.- Frankie Muniz reunites with his television family in the first preview of ´Malcolm in the Middle: Life Still Unfair´, the return of the popular series from the beginning of the century to the small screen, which is scheduled to premiere on April 10 on the Hulu platform.

"My life is fantastic now, I just had to get away from my family," says Muniz in the trailer posted on Hulu's YouTube channel.

The actor, who plays the child prodigy Malcolm in the series, utters the phrase before a series of chaotic scenes starring his parents, Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek), unfold.

The preview shows Malcolm returning home with his daughter (Keeley Karsten) after hiding from them for more than a decade, forced to attend his parents' 40th wedding anniversary party.

In addition to the appearances of Cranston and Kaczmarek, the trailer also shows the protagonist's brothers: Reese, played by Justin Berfield; Francis, played by Christopher Masterson; and Dewey, a role taken on by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, replacing Erik Per Sullivan, who played the youngest brother in the original series.

'Malcolm in the Middle' aired on Fox from 2000 to 2006 after seven seasons. The series followed the life of a dysfunctional middle-class family dealing with everyday life and who had a brilliant son.

Throughout history, the series won seven Emmys and received seven Golden Globe nominations.
