LIDOM confirms Final Series schedule: Escogido and Toros starting January 21st

Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) announced the official schedule for the Final Series of the 2025-2026 National Championship, which will pit the Leones del Escogido and the Toros del Este against each other, in a confrontation agreed to the best of seven games.

The series will begin on Wednesday, January 21st, with the first match scheduled for 7:15 PM, followed by the second game on Thursday 22nd, at 7:30 PM. The third game will be held on Friday 23rd, again at 7:15 PM, while Saturday 24th has been declared a day off. The actions will resume on Sunday, January 25, with the fourth game scheduled for 5:00 in the afternoon. The fifth match will be played on Monday 26, at 7:15 p.m., followed by the sixth encounter on Tuesday 27, at 7:30 p.m. If necessary, the seventh and decisive game will be played on Wednesday, January 28, at 7:15 p.m. The calendar contemplates the alternation of venues between the stadiums of both teams, in accordance with what is established by LIDOM, guaranteeing equitable conditions for the two finalist franchises. The Leones del Escogido advanced to the final after dominating the semifinal stage, while the Toros del Este sealed their qualification after a dramatic victory against the Águilas Cibaeñas, in one of the most intense series of the season.
