Seattle Seahawks celebrate Super Bowl LX and aim for a second championship

Sports Writing, Feb 11 (EFE).– The Seattle Seahawks celebrated with thousands of fans the conquest of the Super Bowl LX, a title they obtained after defeating the New England Patriots 29-13, and made it clear that their ambition does not stop at this championship.

The celebration took place at Lumen Field, the team's home, where the players presented the Lombardi trophy to their loyal fans, known as The 12s, in reference to the symbolic number 12 player represented by the team's supporters. Defensive end Leonard Williams spoke and assured that the team will return with the goal of defending the crown. "This is a special place because of how they support at all times. We are not finished; we will be back next year," he said, while showing a commemorative belt from Super Bowl LX. The ceremony was accompanied by the song "We Are the Champions" by Queen, which played as the champions entered the field among confetti and a massive ovation.

Coach Mike Macdonald also addressed the public with the trophy held high, highlighting the connection between the team and its fans. “This was our vision. You make us stronger. We are the champions”, he proclaimed.

One of the protagonists was quarterback Sam Darnold, who thanked the team's trust after a complicated stage in his career. The quarterback valued the support of the organization and his teammates as key to achieving the title. Running back Kenneth Walker III, named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl LX, was another of the most acclaimed during the event. The player highlighted the intensity of the celebrations and expressed his satisfaction with the achievement reached. The day concluded with a parade through the main streets of Seattle. Aboard open-top buses, the champions shared the Lombardi trophy with thousands of fans who waited for hours to celebrate an achievement that is now part of the franchise's history.
