Man involved in incident at Jarabacoa Prosecutor's Office parking lot offers his version of events

Jarabacoa. – The man involved in the recent incident that occurred in the parking lot of the Jarabacoa Courthouse, where he allegedly tried to confront his ex-partner's current partner with a machete, offered statements about what happened. According to what he expressed, his intention —in his own words— was to "give him two blows" to the man, assuring that he acted in the midst of a moment of anger. The event generated concern among the people who were in the place, including family members and citizens who were going to carry out procedures. Following the incident, police officers intervened immediately and proceeded with the arrest to prevent the situation from escalating.
