Dajabón. – As part of the ongoing border surveillance operations, members of the Dominican Republic Army (ERD) detected and intercepted a motorcycle carrying three Haitian citizens in irregular migratory status, in the Sabana Larga sector, Dajabón province.
The operation was carried out when the units stationed in the area, with the support of surveillance drones, detected a Z3000 motorcycle, CG150 model, black color, chassis LBEPCX14TKB142727, which was trying to evade the established security devices.
The vehicle was driven by Franklin Arismendy Rodríguez, who was transporting three Haitian nationals, two men and one woman, without legal documentation to remain in the country.
Following the arrest, both the driver and the undocumented foreigners, along with the motorcycle, were transferred to the headquarters of the 10th Infantry Battalion of the ERD, where proceedings will be carried out in accordance with current legal provisions.
