Santo Domingo.- The embassy of the United States in the Dominican Republic reiterated this Wednesday that it uses all the necessary information to evaluate visa applicants, as part of its efforts to protect the security of its country.

"We use all available information in our visa evaluation and verification processes to identify applicants who will not be admitted to the United States, including those who pose a risk to the country's security", the embassy said. The message continued: "since 2019, visa applicants must include their social media usernames, both for their immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications."
