In 1991, she began her musical career and, with a powerful voice and an authentic personality, turned her life experiences of love, heartbreak, struggle, and resilience into songs that deeply connected with the public. Over two decades, Jenni established herself as the Diva de la Banda, an artist who broke paradigms and achieved sales of over 25 million records. Her albums topped international charts and her presence on television also made her a popular icon inside and outside the United States. Always proud of her roots, always true to herself, Jenni became a symbol of strength for thousands of women.

Day of his tragic death

Early on December 9, 2012, after giving a concert at the Arena Monterrey, the singer boarded a private plane bound for Toluca. Minutes after takeoff, the aircraft lost contact with the radars. Later, the unthinkable was confirmed: the plane had crashed in the Sierra Madre Oriental, in Iturbide, Nuevo León. There were no survivors. The entertainment world woke up that day with news that forever changed regional Mexican music. And yet, although her voice physically faded, Jenni Rivera never left. Her music continues to top music charts, her words continue to inspire, and her story remains an example of courage, tenacity, and self-love. Her legacy extends to new generations who discover in her not only a great performer, but also a woman who dared to speak out in every way. Jenni Rivera was not only a regional Mexican star: she is and will continue to be a symbol of strength, authenticity, and heart.
