Romeo Santos and Prince Royce reach #1 on Spotify's Top 50 in the Dominican Republic with "Lokita por mí"

Santo Domingo.- The renowned artists Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, two of the most influential figures in bachata worldwide, continue to break barriers with the resounding success of their collaborative album “Better Late Than Never” (“Mejor tarde que nunca"). This powerful collaboration, which has marked a milestone in Latin music, begins the week positioning "Lokita por mí" as the most listened song in the Dominican Republic, which leads the coveted Top 50 of Spotify in the country.

The duo has not only conquered the popularity charts, but has also placed three other songs from their new album in the Top 50. This work, which fuses bachata with influences from genres such as afrobeat and R&B, managing to capture the attention of a diverse audience.

"Dardos", one of the album's themes, which rises with R&B elements, currently occupies the seventh position, consolidating itself as another resounding success within the top ten most listened songs in the Dominican Republic. For its part, Stockholm, which premiered as the first single from the album, maintains a prominent position at number 26, while Ay! San Migue, an ode to Dominican culture, is positioned at number 44. This last song, in particular, highlights the deep connection that both artists maintain with their roots, reflecting the pride and identity of their homeland in a musical tribute that has not gone unnoticed by the public. Four songs in the Top 50: a resounding achievement With these four songs placing in the Top 50 of Spotify in the Dominican Republic, Romeo Santos and Prince Royce achieve a feat that highlights the public's preference and the impact their music has in the country. This close competition within the list demonstrates the relevance and the roots that both figures continue to have in Latin music. It is important to remember that “Better Late Than Never” is the first collaborative album between Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, a project that has been awaited by their followers for years. The album consists of 13 tracks, of which four were co-written by both artists. In addition, it has a single external collaboration, that of the young Dominican talent Dalvin La Melodía, who participates in the song “Menor”.
