France recognized the Palestinian state this Monday at the UN, while Israel continues its brutal military offensive in the Gaza Strip despite international outrage.
United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Portugal announced the same step on Sunday, causing the anger of Tel Aviv. This is the first time that G7 countries have taken such a decision in favor of the Palestinian State.

Faced with the new series of recognitions, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised a direct response. "I have a clear message for those leaders who are recognizing a Palestinian state after the horrific massacre of October 7: they are rewarding terrorism with a huge prize," he declared on Sunday. "And I have another message for you: that will not happen. There will be no Palestinian state west of the Jordan River," Netanyahu added. "The response to the latest attempt to impose a terrorist state in the heart of our land will be given after my return from the United States. Wait for it," the president asserted.- More than 140 UN members already recognize Palestine, a number that continues to increase amid growing shock over Israel's bloody offensive in the Gaza Strip.
