SANTIAGO.- The Águilas Cibaeñas played an intrasquad game this Friday at the Cibao Stadium, as part of their preparation for the 2025-2026 autumn-winter baseball tournament, which will begin on October 15th with a dedication to the Cooperstown immortal, Juan Marichal.

The encounter allowed pitchers to evaluate the control, speed, and command of their breaking pitches, while the batters were able to measure the speed of their swing against the fastball, chase the breaking pitches, and reinforce the notion of the strike zone.
During the game, the batting coaches remained attentive, offering advice and suggestions, as did the pitching instructors, who observed each pitch, its speed, and the effect of the breaks.
