A total of 1,100 police and emergency personnel will participate in the security operation for the Champions League match that Atlético de Madrid and Bodo/Glimt will play this Wednesday at the Metropolitano stadium starting at nine o'clock at night.
According to reports this Wednesday from the Government Delegation, the operation will be in charge of monitoring the areas surrounding the stadium to prevent incidents.
It will be made up of National Police officers —from the Police Intervention Unit, the Special Cavalry Unit, the Provincial Information Brigade and the Mobile Brigade—; from the Traffic Civil Guard; the Municipal Police of Madrid; members of SAMUR-Civil Protection; from the Fire Department, and security guards and assistants from the football club itself.

In the Metro service, the presence of security guards will also be reinforced. Around 400 Norwegian fans with tickets are expected to attend, and they will have a meeting point in Plaza Céfiro, between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM. To expedite the work of the agents, all attendees to the stadium are recommended to arrive in advance to pass the established security checks.
