Puerto Plata. - The community of Barrero, in the municipality of Imbert, expressed this Tuesday its disbelief and resistance to accept as definitive the accusations that link people from the close environment with the rape and death of the girl Brianna, a fact that has generated consternation, pain and division among the residents of the town.
During tours and conversations with community members, several expressed surprise at the findings that emerged during the investigative process, especially those involving a man identified by the surnames Reyes Rosario Núñez, the minor's uncle, whom they describe as a person close to the church and known for his active participation in religious activities. "It's hard for us to believe, because we've always seen him collaborating in the church," expressed some neighbors, who say that the accusations have caused confusion and a deep emotional impact in the community, due to the seriousness of the act and the existing social ties. You can also read: Barrero dismayed after death of three-year-old girl and arrest of close relatives involved
