DASAC brings comprehensive solutions to localities in the southern region

Barahona. - The Directorate of Social Assistance and Community Food (DASAC), carried out extensive operations to deliver food rations over the weekend in several locations in the southern region of the country. The days began on Friday in the municipality of Las Matas de Farfán and the Municipal District of Carrera de Yeguas, in the province of San Juan de la Maguana, where low-income families were benefited through house-to-house operations, ensuring an organized, dignified and direct distribution of food ration kits containing essential products with high quality standards. Operations continued on Saturday in the municipality of Vicente Noble, Barahona province, where thousands of homes received food rations as part of the social actions carried out by the Government through the DASAC. The director of the institution, Edgar Augusto Feliz Arbona, highlighted that these days are part of a national plan that will extend throughout the territory, aimed at bringing comprehensive and timely solutions to the communities that need it most.

Sectors such as Galindo, Batey Paja, Arroyo Grande, Centro Hermoso, Villa Progreso, Barrio Nuevo, among others in the Southern region, expressed their gratitude for the organization and the positive impact of these deliveries, valuing the direct approach of the Government with the reality of their localities. During each operation, DASAC collaborators also evaluate the conditions of the beneficiary families, with the aim of channeling comprehensive and sustainable solutions, reaffirming the State's commitment to provide food support with dignity and social sensitivity.
