Fire affects L&R furniture store

Santo Domingo Norte.– A fire is currently occurring at the facilities of the furniture store L&R Comercial, located next to the La Sirena establishment in the Villa Mella sector, in Santo Domingo Norte. According to preliminary information, the flames would have originated inside the commercial premises and quickly began to spread, generating a dense column of smoke visible from several points in the area. Residents and passers-by have expressed concern due to the proximity of the establishment to other businesses and homes. Fire department units are on the scene trying to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. So far, no victims have been reported, although the authorities have cordoned off the area as a precautionary measure.
