Santo Domingo. - At 6:40 a.m. this Thursday, a fire was recorded on board the sailboat SERAFÍN, while it was moored at the Cumayasa dock, San Pedro de Macorís province, as reported by the Dominican Republic Navy.
The causes of the incident have not yet been clarified, it also partially affected the sailboat MAHI MAHI, docked nearby. So far, no human losses have been reported, only material damage.
In this regard, units of the local Fire Department, along with Navy personnel, immediately went to control the flames and prevent their spread to other vessels or dock infrastructure.
