Juanes releases 'Muérdeme', a new Caribbean cumbia single with Bomba Estéreo

Bogotá.- Juanes released this Wednesday 'Muérdeme', a collaboration with the Colombian group Bomba Estéreo that serves as a new preview of his next studio album and in which he explores a "sexy cumbia", the artist's press team reported. Error al procesar la solicitud The theme mixes the guitar with a rhythmic base inspired by the cumbia of the 60s and 70s of Medellín, the city where Juanes comes from. The song arrived accompanied by a music video filmed in the Caribbean city of Santa Marta and directed by Diego Cadavid and Mario Alzate, in which the vibrant colors and the sea are protagonists.

The single continues the artist's new creative cycle, with an album planned for the first quarter of 2026, from which other songs are already known such as 'Una noche contigo', and in which he once again focuses on "intimate lyrics about the multiple facets of love". Juan Esteban Aristizábal, known in the music world as Juanes, 53 years old, has just been highlighted by Billboard and Rolling Stone as the most influential Latin rock artist of the 21st century, a distinction that coincided with the 25th anniversary of his debut album, 'Fíjate bien'.
Juanes has a total of 29 Grammy and Latin Grammy awards, and has toured in more than 40 countries.
