Karol G's documentary is now available on Netflix

Karol G released her documentary Mañana fue muy bonito on the Netflix platform this Thursday, May 8th.

The audiovisual, which has a duration of 1 hour and 40 minutes, she talks about how the album Mañana será bonito, released in 2023, was born, and reveals unpublished details of her life, from her growth to the path she had to cross to achieve success.

Likewise, she referred to her relationship with the Puerto Rican singer Anuel AA.  “In my last relationship, going out was very toxic. I woke up and felt like I was dying. I felt that as a person I couldn't see success, highlighted Carolina Giraldo, the artist's given name.

Karol confessed that the breakup also helped her focus and let her creativity flow. “I realized that I wanted to talk about many things and I started in the studio to write and start to vent,” she added.

“I understand the excitement you have to see the documentary but the idea is that you watch it at a time when you can watch it in its entirety, don't watch it paused or in pieces, and don't fall asleep, because watching it in its entirety is very special, so wait until the next day or the weekend when you can have a nice experience watching them,” he said on his Instagram account.

Another topic the documentary touches on is her constant self-sabotage, that perfectionism that, although it has taken her very far, has also left her moments of great loneliness, silence, and vulnerability.

The feature documentary is directed by Cristina Constantini, who also produces in conjunction with the producers of This Machine, R.J. Cutler, Elise Pearlstein and Trevor Smith, in association with Interscope Films and Bichota Films.
