Luis Abinader prioritizes Santo Domingo Norte with major investments

Santo Domingo Norte. – The municipal president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Isidro Torres, highlighted the historic investment that the Government of President Luis Abinader has allocated to Santo Domingo Norte (SDN), with projects that transform the quality of life of thousands of families in areas such as health, drinking water, transportation, housing, education, and community spaces. Torres informed that in recent years RD$12,247.7 million in public investments have been executed, a figure that represents 24% of the municipal investment of the province, placing Santo Domingo Norte in a privileged place within the national agenda. Iconic works that change people's lives General and Specialties Hospital Mario Tolentino Dipp With an investment of RD$2.8 billion, this modern center expands hospital care capacity and brings specialized services closer to the local population. Eastern Aqueduct–SDN (Transfer) With RD$7,351 million invested and more than 52 km of installed networks, it guarantees permanent drinking water for 850,000 inhabitants of the area. Extension of Metro Line 1 (Villa Mella–Punta) Project valued at RD$10.522 billion, which will benefit 400,000 people, reducing travel times and strengthening connectivity with educational and labor hubs.

With RD$4,491.5 million, this housing initiative offers decent housing to 1,912 families, contributing to reduce the housing deficit.
