After becoming the most-watched non-English language film in Netflix history, the universe of Trol awakens again with more force than ever. Today, TROL 2 premieres worldwide on the platform, a production that elevates Norse mythology, action, and visual spectacle to a new level.
Directed again by Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave), the sequel reunites the same creative team that brought the original success to life, with screenwriter Espen Aukan and producers Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud at the helm. The main cast reprises their roles with Ine Marie Wilmann (Nora), Kim Falck (Andreas) and Mads Sjøgård Pettersen (Captain Kris).A New and Devastating Awakening
In this second installment, a new and fearsome troll emerges from the depths of Norway, sowing destruction in its wake and putting the entire country at risk.
