Batey Santa María.- With a powerful exhibition of photographs and the listening of their podcast "Juntas Somos Más Fuertes" (Together We Are Stronger), 35 adolescent and young graduates of the project "Agency, Voice and Participation" demonstrated today the strengthening of their leadership and community advocacy. The initiative, sponsored by UNICEF and executed by CIPAF through the Tertulia Feminista SUR, culminated in an event that overflowed with pride and hope in the community center.
These young women, from 8 communities in the Enriquillo region, were strategically trained in Human Rights, Gender, Advocacy, Podcast, and Photography. The tools did not remain in theory: they were transformed into radio practices, photographic sessions, and podcast episodes that narrate their realities and dreams, demonstrating concrete and applied learning.

“We thank UNICEF, CIPAF and Tertulia for trusting us in this process,” expressed Liseth Matos and Dorianny Duval, spokespersons for the group, before an audience of 50 people, including family members and community leaders, who defied the afternoon heat to support their growth.
The event was not just a display of talent, but clear evidence of how investing in the training and agency of adolescent girls builds stronger, informed, and participatory communities.
