San Cristóbal. - Preventive Police agents, attached to the San Cristóbal Regional Directorate, seized drugs, illegal firearms and various evidence, after intervening in a timely manner with two people with suspicious behavior during a surveillance operation carried out in the Najayo sector, and the vicinity of Palenque beach.
During the police operation, two kilograms of a white powder, presumably cocaine, wrapped in adhesive tape, were seized, as well as two illegal firearms: a Glock pistol, 9mm caliber, with its magazine and seven cartridges, and another Browning, 9mm caliber, with a magazine with a capacity for 30 cartridges.
Also, a white Toyota vehicle was seized, as well as cell phones, balaclavas, gloves, vapes, a lighter, a cell phone charger, a bundle, a bank card, chip holders and cash, among other evidence.

The detainees and the evidence were placed under the control of the Public Ministry, for the corresponding legal purposes. This result is a product of constant patrolling and prevention efforts, aimed at removing weapons and illicit substances from the streets, strengthening security and public order.
