Councilman Sandy Báez publicly requested the executive director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewers (INAPA), Welinton Arnaud, for the prompt intervention of the aqueduct of the municipality of Padre Las Casas, in the province of Azua.
Báez expressed that the situation of the drinking water service has become critical for hundreds of families who have been struggling for weeks to access the supply. "The system presents constant failures and many communities are desperate for the lack of water," he affirmed.
The councilor called on INAPA to evaluate the conditions of the aqueduct and provide the necessary technical equipment to restore the service efficiently.
