Samaná.- In an event held at the Marea del Proyecto Restaurant, in Playa Bonita Beach Residences, the new board of directors of the Dominican Association of Tourism Press (Adompretur) in the province of Samaná was sworn in, which will be chaired by the journalist Pedro Javier Sánchez. Sarah Hernández, president of the association, also swore in the team composed of the journalists: Javier Virgen Sosa, sub secretary; Fernando Medina, director of Finance; Estarlin Carela, director of Inter-Institutional Relations; Migdomio Sosa Heredia, director of Training; Roel Payano, in charge of Public Relations; Carlos Manuel Silvestre, director of Events; Nathaly Tejada García, in charge of Culture and Tourism; Freddy Antonio Aquino Páez, member; and Fernando Medina, director of Events.

The event was attended by national directors of Adompretur, including Osvaldo Soriano, past president and current president of the Ethics Committee; Nereyda Álvarez de Mercado, national secretary of the Ethics Committee; and advisors Carlos José Tejada Gómez and Luis José Chávez. Local cultural and business authorities congratulated the initiative, highlighting the guild's commitment to strengthening tourism journalism in the province.
