Santo Domingo.– The weather conditions in the country continue under the influence of a trough, which has been generating significant increases in cloudiness, accompanied by moderate to heavy showers at times, according to the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).
The rainfall has been recorded mainly in provinces of the northeast and southeast regions of the country, including Greater Santo Domingo and the National District, as well as in the Central Mountain Range and some sectors of the border area. According to the forecasts, these rains will remain present until the early hours of this Saturday.
Indomet predicts that during the afternoon of Saturday and the course of Sunday the trough will continue to affect the national territory, again causing precipitation of different intensities and frequencies, especially in the northeast and southeast regions, Greater Santo Domingo, the National District and the border area.
